Orecrusher SA (Pty) Ltd is the sole manufacturer of the Orecrusher range of Vertical Shaft Impactors. Our proud heritage can be traced back over forty years. Our range of VSI crushers continuously prove their superiority over other crushers in the market in terms of product quality, maximum output and ease of maintenance. Orecrusher built its reputation on finding solutions for the most technically challenging scenarios and is considered the benchmark in such applications. Unprecedented success and market acceptance has enabled Orecrusher to expand our quality product range and services into the quarrying and mining industries.

Located in Benoni, Gauteng, Orecrusher is ideally situated to provide the entire sub-Saharan Africa with crushing & mining equipment and services that would improve the way they work, making it more effective and efficient, and lowering their operation costs. All sales, distribution, inventory and administration functions are coordinated from this site. Orecrusher’s rock crushing machine manufacturing facility is located in Durban and we have Representatives in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

To understand Orecrusher, you need to understand our history. In the early 1980s, Harry Collins introduced Barmac and Power Screen to the sub-Saharan African market. Over time, the Vertical Shaft Impactor crusher was reinvented and rebranded to become the Oresizer Vertical Shaft Impactor.

Oresizer (Pty) Ltd was a roaring success, selling a considerable amount of units between 1990 and 1997. One reason for this success was their understanding of the high requirements presented by the harsh African conditions. Harry Collins sold Oresizer in 1997, but he continued to manufacture high quality equipment for the European, South American and Middle Eastern markets.

In 2003, Harry Collins and Roeland Verweij identified the urgent need in the market for better products and higher quality service levels. As a result of this recognition, Orecrusher SA (Pty) Ltd was formed in 2004. We immediately started rebranding our products under the name of Oremaster in order to reflect the vision of a brand that would deliver higher quality.
